The dog, the dog, he's at it again

Up and Coming trainer arrived to do evening stables yesterday and was somewhat perplexed to witness the Middleton flyweight doggy handbag fight. Ari was out for his evening terrorise of the yard when he spotted Darcy in his latest fashion statement.

Does my bum etc

This was to much for the Scottie fashionista and much jumping about growling and handbag throwing ensued. Fair dos to Darcy he was faster on his feet and did a good snarl himself so they were separated (quite easily) and the bout was declared a draw. The house inmates retired for Beer at the Squirrel public house, not a great place but warm and close to  Ludlow's premier take out.

Cue card won the big race at Chepstow yesterday in a most taking fashion, one hopes the Tizzard team will follow the novice route to Cheltenham where he looks a good bet for the RSA chase. 50% of the tips won yesterday and Domtaline, who was laid out for this race  looks good enough to win a couple more.

Todays meeting is at Ffos Las and I would recommend Minella For Party in the last race. Tim Vaughan had a bumper winner on Thursday and this horse won a decent maiden point to point at Punchestown before changing hands for £75,000. He should recoup £1642 today.

The blog title ? Surely you all know Canterbury's premier prog band of the 1970s Caravan ?? No ?

You'll probably hate it.
